15. ANNOUNCEMENTS:
· Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Conference Alert - The APEC Conference will be held on O'ahu November 7 - 13, 2011 (Monday to Sunday). APEC is a 21-member association of economies (not “countries”) from the Asia-Pacific region working together to advance regional economic integration, growth, and prosperity. More information is available on the website of the APEC 2011 Hawaii Host Committee at www.apec2011hawaii.com. Due to the security considerations, inconveniences are to be expected - especially affecting traffic. Everyone is encouraged to plan ahead, allow plenty of time to reach destinations, and avoid the primary areas of APEC activities, especially during the November 11 - 13 Veterans Day holiday weekend and the final APEC Conference Leaders Meeting to be held in Ko 'Olina.
· Next Meeting - The next Kuli'ou'ou/Kalani Iki Neighborhood Board No. 2 regular meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the ‘Aina Haina Public Library, 5246 Kalaniana’ole Highway at 7:00 p.m. PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS.
· Upcoming Recess - The Kuli'ou'ou/Kalani Iki Neighborhood Board No. 2 will take a recess in January 2012.
· Audio Recordings - Informal audio recordings of the meetings are available to the general public at http://www.nboard2.com.
